With paralleled narratives, twisted together like a double helix, Don't Look follows the lives of two first cousins as they try to escape from a humiliation shared in their youth.
Daniel (Daniel Sadavoy) buries himself in his studies in order to shut out any social interaction, while Ariella (Rebecca Applebaum) severs all links to a past identity, preferring a transient lifestyle that no one will remember. But when both Daniel and Ariella are finally pushed to the limits of their defences, they find themselves face to face with everything they’ve been trying to avoid.
Directed by Maya Rabinovitch (I Will Not Hatch!), Don't Look dynamically splices dramatic dialogue with narrations to create a multilayered piece full of delightful tension and unnerving hilarity.
